About the Marketing Gym

Helping regional small business owners show up online—without the overwhelm.

The Marketing Gym is a not-for-profit project created to support time-poor, values-driven small business owners in regional and rural Australia.

We make marketing feel doable—offering down-to-earth tools, prompts, and training designed to help you show up consistently without the tech headaches, big budgets, or trendy fluff.

Who We’re Here For

You don’t need a full-time marketing team to build a business you’re proud of.

If you're a solo operator, side hustler, or community org trying to get the word out—this space was made for you. Especially if:

✅You live regionally or rurally
✅ You wear all the hats (sometimes all at once)
✅ You want marketing that actually makes sense (without wasting your time)
✅ You’re a little allergic to fluff, fads, and “7-figure gurus”

What We Offer

(And Why We’re Different)

The Marketing Gym is structured like a membership—but built like a training ground. You can start with our free Planning Calendar, or step things up with low-cost tools like:

  • Plug-and-play ChatGPT prompts (Coming Soon!)

  • Website walkthroughs for Squarespace

  • DIY Bootcamps for social media, blogging and AI (Coming Soon!)

  • PT Sessions for 1:1 Support to get things moving (Coming Soon!)

We don’t believe in locking you into complex tech or overpriced retainers. We believe in giving you the skills, confidence, and structure to manage your own marketing—and actually enjoy it.

Where This All Comes From:

After spending years working with small-town businesses & organisations, we saw a pattern: Incredible people doing incredible work—held back by confusion, burnout, or a web developer who ghosted them six months ago.

So we built The Marketing Gym as a community-first solution, backed by the B2C Foundation—a humanitarian not-for-profit dedicated to supporting regional small businesses and community organisations across Australia.

Every paid subscription helps fund resources for the wider community. When you grow, your town grows too.
